Modern Villa Outdoor WPC Complete System

Project Overview

This project is located at a modern-style villa in Hainan, with a total outdoor area of approximately 120 square meters encompassing three major functional zones: a garden landscape area, an outdoor kitchen/BBQ area, and a pool leisure area. The core concept of the project is to organically integrate different outdoor functional zones into a cohesive outdoor living space through the unified use of WPC series products.

Hainan is located in the tropics with year-round high temperatures, high humidity, and intense UV radiation. Typhoon season also brings extreme weather conditions. These harsh environmental conditions impose the highest level of weather resistance requirements on outdoor building materials. This project comprehensively utilizes three products: WPC wall panels, WPC slat panels, and WPC louver panels, fully leveraging the diversity and adaptability of the WPC material system. The total construction period was 12 days.

Products Used

WPC Outdoor Wall Panels: Used for garden perimeter walls and outdoor kitchen wall cladding. Deep wood color finish coordinates harmoniously with the villa's architectural style. Co-extrusion technology ensures surface weather resistance and color fastness.

WPC Slat Panels: Used for pool area privacy screens and decorative partitions in the garden. The open design of the slat panels maintains the spatial openness while providing necessary visual screening and safety protection.

WPC Louver Panels: Used for outdoor kitchen overhead shading and garden pergola structures. The adjustable-angle louver design enables flexible shading adjustment based on sun angle while maintaining good air circulation.

Design Highlights

Material Consistency: All WPC series products are used throughout. Although the product forms vary (wall panels, slats, louvers), the unified material and color palette ensures design language consistency across the entire outdoor space.
Functional Zoning and Integration: The three functional areas each have distinct characteristics yet remain interconnected. The garden area is defined by greenery and WPC perimeter walls, the outdoor kitchen forms a semi-enclosed space with WPC wall panels and louver canopy, and the pool area creates an intimate atmosphere with WPC slat privacy screens.
Integrated Outdoor Kitchen: The outdoor kitchen area features custom-fabricated WPC board countertops, storage cabinets, and a bar counter, complemented by built-in grills and sinks for full functionality.
Pool Area Landscape: Anti-slip WPC decking surrounds the pool, with tropical plants behind the slat screens visible through the gaps, adding to the tropical resort atmosphere.
Night Lighting: LED strips and spotlight systems are pre-embedded in all WPC structures. When illuminated at night, the entire outdoor space presents a completely different and enchanting ambiance.

Construction Key Points

All structural foundations must use stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized materials to resist salt spray corrosion in the island environment
WPC board installation must fully account for thermal expansion in tropical high temperatures, reserving larger expansion gaps
Louver panel rotation mechanisms must use 316 stainless steel bearings to ensure long-term smooth operation
WPC decking in the pool area requires additional anti-slip treatment and must meet drainage slope standards
Outdoor electrical systems must achieve IP65 or higher protection ratings
Typhoon reinforcement measures: all connectors use dual fastening, and louver panels are equipped with locking devices
