Luxury Marble PVC Wall Panel Living Room

Project Overview

This project is located in an open-plan living and dining space of a high-end residence in Guangzhou, covering a total area of approximately 45 square meters. The homeowner desired a luxurious and grand decorating effect and initially considered using natural marble for the walls. However, due to high costs, heavy weight, and complex construction requirements, our blue-white marble PVC wall panels were ultimately selected as an alternative solution.

The project uses a 40cm wide ultra-flat panel design. Through precision UV transfer printing technology, the texture and luster of natural blue-white marble are perfectly reproduced. The entire construction was completed in just 3 days, significantly shortening the project timeline.

Products Used

The PVC Wall Panel 40cm Flat series in blue-white marble finish was used. The panels are 8mm thick with a UV-coated surface that provides excellent abrasion resistance and waterproof performance. The 40cm wide format reduces the number of joints, resulting in a grander and cleaner overall appearance.

Matching PVC edge trim and corner profiles were used to ensure perfect transitions at wall corners.

Design Highlights

Open-Space Unification: Both the living room and dining area feature the same marble-pattern wall panels. The continuous texture direction unifies the entire open space, creating a more complete and harmonious visual effect.
Luxury Texture Presentation: The blue-white marble texture features rich layering, with blue veins naturally meandering across a white base. Combined with the subtle luster of the UV coating, it is virtually indistinguishable from natural marble when viewed from a distance.
Significant Cost Advantage: Compared to the high cost of natural marble wall cladding, the PVC wall panel solution requires only about one-tenth of the cost. Additionally, it is lightweight and does not require wall reinforcement, making it particularly suitable for high-rise residential applications.

Construction Key Points

The wall base layer must ensure flatness deviation does not exceed 3mm; otherwise, leveling treatment is required
When installing marble-pattern panels, attention must be paid to the consistency and continuity of the texture direction
Panels are joined using micro-seam splicing technology with gaps controlled within 0.5mm
Edge trim installation should be performed after panel installation is complete to ensure neat finishes
